You'll see I have a page for Turner Prize-winning artist Douglas Gordon.  In addition to working with Douglas on several projects in Berlin, Scotland and remotely in Australia, I also run his social media and designed and maintain his website douglasgordonart.com Have a look at some of our collaborations by clicking on Artists and Exhibitions above.

There are also pages in the above menu for late artists Klaus Kastberg and Anni Kastberg who made stunning artworks and lived such a full life starting in Denmark and ending in Australia. You’ll see I produced a few videos of Klaus’s work and also a book and video showcasing Anni’s works.

I'm no stranger to the arts, having worked in Film and Television since 1999 as an Art Director and Art Coordinator on some large productions. I've also been a professional songwriter and musician for many years and won a few accolades along the way, my music name is John Harley Weston.

In 2014, after being in Australia for 17  years, I thought it might be a good idea to visit family back in the auld country of Scotland. 

​

My cousin, Turner Prize-winning artist, Douglas Gordon, said we should stay in his Glasgow residence, a beautiful old 4 storey sandstone building in the heart of the city. We also visited him in Berlin, where he now lives and works.

​

We grew up together as kids and now as adults with a deep foundation in the Arts, we just can't stop coming up with ideas.

Since then, I've been back 'home' for extended visits and Douglas and I have worked together on a few projects in Berlin, Glasgow, the Scottish Highlands and Australia.
